The result is a low-stress shopping experience where you can find some of the highest-quality used cars for sale in El Cajon. Of course, we’re also proud to serve customers throughout the Greater San Diego area, including the communities of La Mesa and Santee.
And remember, while we strive to sell the most reliable used vehicles in El Cajon, our expert technicians mean we’re also your one-stop shop for excellent service and repairs.
Dodge brand cars and SUVs are muscular machines that are made for enthusiasts, but you don’t have to pay a high price for high performance when you shop at Legacy Cars. Right as a starting point, most pre-owned Dodge vehicles are going to be less expensive than brand-new versions with the exact same equipment. In fact, used Dodges can deliver discounts in the four- and five-figure range compared to new models even when the older rides are in great shape. That’s the impact of depreciation for you.
Of course, as long as we’re talking about vehicle condition, Legacy Cars wants to let you know that we have some of the best-cared-for used cars for sale in El Cajon. We actually make sure of that ourselves by inspecting each pre-owned vehicle we sell and making sure they’re checked for both safety and compliance with California’s strict clean-air guidelines.
Another thing to keep in mind is that we’re here to finance your future, not your past. So we’re able to leverage our impressive network of lenders to get financing even if you have no credit, bad credit, or a past bankruptcy on your record.
Pre-owned Dodges can be among the most powerful used cars for sale in El Cajon, yet their go-fast goodies are just part of the picture. The brand can also boast a rewarding range of driver-assistance technologies, infotainment resources, and luxury cues so you can live your best life at full speed. (Please note that exact equipment can vary by model and model year.)
Dodge does things a bit differently than typical auto brands: Instead of a full lineup of all different kinds of vehicles, it showcases a limited number of models that are available in a wide array of trim levels and special editions. The result is that Dodge has something for almost everyone — as long as they’re looking for one of the most fun-to-drive used cars in El Cajon. As for Legacy Cars, we strive to keep top Dodge models in stock and can also help track down tough-to-find models if that’s what it takes to meet your needs.
The Dodge story begins in Detroit in the early 1900s, when Horace Elgin and John Francis Dodge founded a company to supply parts to the Motor City’s quickly growing auto industry. By 1913, however, the Dodges were ready to get into the automaking game themselves and started the aptly named Dodge Brothers Motor Company. Things got off to a fairly strong start, too. The Dodge company adopted Ford’s assembly-line approach to manufacturing but brought that technique to the burgeoning luxury-car segments. Yet in 1920, just when Dodge seemed poised for success, both of the brothers died. John passed away from complications caused by the Spanish flu at the beginning of the year, and Horace followed in December from liver problems: The story goes that Horace drank himself to death grieving for John.
Be that as it may, the Dodge business carried on without the brothers until 1928 and was then purchased by the Chrysler Corporation. It proved to be a wise decision, as the Dodge brand grew quickly under its new ownership and was selling millions of vehicles each year — including Dodge RAM trucks — right up into the 1980s. Nowadays, the Dodge brand keeps the brothers’ dynamic spirit alive with daring cars and SUVs for a new generation of performance enthusiasts.
